Bishop Lloyd E. Gwin (known to many students as B.G.) is the pastor of The
Church Of The Living God, also called The Love Corner, 1109 N. Fourth Street,
Champaign, IL 61820. He is also the Vice Bishop of The Church Of The Living
God, Inc., and member of the Bishop's Council (the governing board of the
corporate orginization).
B.G. was educated in the schools of Chicago (alumnus of The University of
Illinois - Chicago Campus). He is also a veteran of the United States Army.
He is the loving husband of Evangelist Mary Gwin and devoted father of
three children: Bettye, Lloyd II, and Christina. In addition, Bishop Gwin has a
genuine love for the Lord and the Lord's people.
Bishop Gwin has maintained a strong presence in the community, with special
emphasis on the University of Illinois, Champaign - Urbana Campus. He has a
special passion for the youth, which led to N~God (Next Generation Of
Disciples), a ministry designed to aide students in their spiritual, educational,
emotional, social, and financial growth.
